It is interesting to note that with all the specific data in this initial report, it was not included that Fox Hills is currently the densest residential area. There are about 2600 units in 26 multi-unit complexes adjacent to where this development is planned. As many of you already know, there are 5 proposals for Fox Hills totaling over 2900 additional units. Upon completion, these 5 developments alone would approximately double the population of Fox Hills. This bombardment of development proposals in Fox Hills is because we have the highest density designation of 100 units/acre on the south side of Slauson. With the additional density bonuses, this project's density rises to 129 units/acre with only 78 units for very low income housing. If all projects are approved, our City leaders have allowed Fox Hills to carry most if not all of the 3341 units the city must build by 2029.
