he Culver City Woman's club will be holding their September meeting on Monday, September 9, at the Culver City Woman's Club May Meeting at the Culver Palms Methodist Church located at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City. There is amply parking.
The speaker will be the current Mayor of Culver City, Yasmine-Imani McMorrin. She was first elected in 2020 to serve as a City Council Member, and then served as the City Council's Vice Mayor before becoming the current Mayor.
She is currently running for re-election to the city council in the November election.
McMorrin will speak for approximately 15 minutes, followed by a question and answer session.
Check in time is 10am and the program begins at 10:30.
The club will announce new activities and events they are planning for the new year. You will meet new people, learn new things along with what club has to offer.
We will be having a catered lunch for a small charge. If would like to also have lunch after the main meeting, please RSVP to Patct33@gmail.com
The Culver City Woman's club is a non-profit philanthropic and social organization that supports a number of local charitable causes such as Student Scholarships, Shoes for the Homeless, West LA Veterans, Children's Foster Care Services, Meals on wheels, Lange Foundation, Lo Limit School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Woman's Shelters, Food Banks, and many more.
