Nova Exhibition Comes to Culver City

Looks Back on Hamas Attack on Music Festival in Israel

The Nova Exhibition is a privately produced, public installation memorializing the October 7, 2023 attack on the Nova Music Festival in Israel. The exhibit will be open to the public in the Hayden Tract neighborhood of Culver City beginning Saturday, August 17th through mid-October. The exhibit will take place indoors and parking will be available on-site, and throughout the area in designated lots. You can learn more about the exhibit on the Nova Exhibition website.

The Nova Exhibition is taking place in a building zoned Industrial General. Culver City’s Industrial General district allows this use without City Council, Planning Commission, or staff approval, nor are public meetings or public notifications required. The City is providing this information to the public about the exhibit because it has the potential to generate significant public interest.

The City is proactively working with the exhibit organizers to provide enhanced safety and security measures to avoid any potential negative impacts on neighboring residents and businesses. In addition to the organizer’s 24-hour private security, Culver City Police Officers will be on-site during business hours at the organizer's expense.
