Rams hit the ground running at the start of training camp

The Los Angeles Rams started their training camp at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles for the first-time last week, and there's a lot of optimism surrounding the team. The preparation and development so far indicate promising improvements in several key areas, from a revamped offensive line to a potentially explosive wide receiver core. Just over a week into training camp, several key takeaways are emerging for the Rams. The running game appears set to improve, with Kyren Williams firmly established as the lead back, though rookie standout Blake Corum from Michigan is expected to get some opportunities this year. The wide receivers have the potential to be one of the most dynamic in the league, with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nakua both appearing healthy and that's especially crucial for Kupp, who underwent ankle surgery last season. Sixth-round rookie wide receiver Jordan Whittington from Texas has been a standout early in camp, and while expectations for him to match last year's fifth-round gem, Nakua are tempered, any meaningful contribution would be a bonus.
