The Los Angeles Urban League is hosting its annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on July 29, 2024, at the Calabasas Country Club, 4515 Park Entrada, Calabasas, CA 91302. The star studded fundraising event brings together community leaders, celebrities, and corporate partners for an afternoon of golf that supports and transforms young people's, individuals', and families' lives, building a better, healthier community.
The annual event raises funds to support the Los Angeles Urban League's critical programs centered around empowering Angelinos. Proceeds from the Celebrity Golf Classic will provide educational resources, mentorship opportunities, and career development initiatives that will help young individuals break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future. While the golfers will be enjoying the breathtaking views, top-notch amenities, and a challenging layout of Calabasas Country Club, the tournament will be making a direct impact on the lives of aspiring young leaders, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.
Celebrity participants joining LAUL's President and CEO Cynthia Mitchell-Heard, include avid golfers Byron Scott, Cedric the Entertainer, Dondre Whitfield, Flex Alexander, Glenn Dorsey, Kathleen Bradley, James Loney, Marcellus Wiley, Michael Irby, Mike Hill, Mitch Richmond, Willie Gault, Senator Steve Bradford, Chris Hale, Coach Mike Woodson, and many others.
