LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Lakers have announced their roster for the upcoming California Classic in San Francisco held July 6-10 and NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 in Las Vegas spanning July 12-22. South Bay Lakers Head Coach Dane Johnson will serve as the team's head coach for both summer events.
The Lakers will tip off the California Classic with back-to-back games against the Sacramento Kings on July 6 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a matchup with the Golden State Warriors on July 7 at 3:30 p.m. Los Angeles will conclude the annual event with a contest against the Miami Heat on July 10 at 4 p.m. All games will be played
at Chase Center.
The Purple and Gold will then travel to Las Vegas for NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 for an opening day matchup against the Houston Rockets on July 12 at 4:30 p.m. at Thomas & Mack Center. The Lakers are scheduled to play three additional games at the same venue against the Boston Celtics on July 15 at 7:30 p.m., the Atlanta Hawks on July 17 at 6:30 p.m. and the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 18 at 6 p.m. The date and opponent for the Lakers' fifth game in Las Vegas will be determined by the results of their first four contests.
