Culver City Police Explorers Shine at State Competition

The Culver City Police Department's Explorer post participated in the Central Valley Explorer Competition which is held each year in Northern California to test the skills.

Take a peek at how our Explorers spent the weekend working towards victory!

The Explorers and their advisors dedicated hours of training to prepare for the Central Valley Explorer competition, in Ripon, California. They spent the weekend at the competition battling for top finishes against 35 police departments from across the state.

Our Explorers did a phenomenal job competing in multiple public safety scenarios that were realistic and physically challenging. They demonstrated physical fitness, mental preparedness, professionalism, and discipline. We are proud to announce that first place titles came home to Culver City in the categories of drill and ceremony and hostage rescue.

The Culver City Police Department is proud of all our Explorers and their advisors who invest their time in the development of the team. Well done Explorers!
