On Thursday, June 20, at 1:19 am, officers responded to the broadcast of a robbery that had occurred five minutes prior at the 5600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. Officers arrived quickly and contacted the victim.
Initial investigation indicates that the victim visited an ATM at 1:10 am on the 5600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. He withdrew cash, and while walking back to his vehicle, two suspects ran up to him. One of the suspects (S-1) pointed a black semi-automatic rifle at the victim and said, "Give me the money. Give me the cash." Fearing for his safety, the victim threw the money on the ground in front of them. S-1 demanded more money and the victim's cellphone. When he did not produce the items, S-1 told the victim, "Let's get in your car and go somewhere else." When the victim did not comply, both suspects fled the area.
The suspects were described as Male, Hispanic, late teens to early twenties
