Sunday afternoon, June 5, an automated license plate reader camera (ALPR) systems alerted Culver City Police to a vehicle wanted by another law enforcement agency in connection with a homicide. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver fled. After a brief vehicle pursuit, the suspect bailed out of the car near the 5900 block of Green Valley Circle. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.
The suspect arrested by Culver City Police is believed to be the suspect wanted in a homicide case in a neighboring Los Angeles area. Excellent work by all involved.
