I'm taking this opportunity to let you know that I will be running for re-election to the Culver City Council on the November ballot. And I think it is important for you to know why ...
✅ I'm running for reelection because, while we've made progress, there is still so much to be done to make Culver City the best it can be.
✅ I'm running because the unhoused in our community still do not have access to all the resources and supportive services that will enable them to get off the streets for good.
✅ I'm running because we need to do more to improve public safety and safeguard our families.
✅ I'm running because we need to make sure the city continues to do the best job possible in providing services to its residents – from street sweeping and fixing potholes to trimming trees and picking up trash.
✅ I'm running because we stopped drilling in the Inglewood Oil Field while I was mayor, but we need to keep doing everything we can to protect the environment.
✅ I'm running because we must find new and innovative ways to balance the need for more housing and the commitment to protect the neighborhoods we cherish.
✅ I'm running because, far too often, divisive politics gets in the way of achieving real solutions.
✅ I'm running to finish the job I started for the city I love.
Along the way I will need your help, your guidance and your support, and I know that, working together, we can get the job done!
Albert
