STEVE BALLMER ANNOUNCES THE FORMATION OF HALO SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES, CA – Steve Ballmer today announced the formation of Halo Sports and Entertainment, a new umbrella brand consisting of the LA Clippers, Ontario Clippers, Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. The consolidation of these leading sports and entertainment assets, including Intuit Dome, which opens in August 2024, will help foster collaboration and efficiency.

Gillian Zucker will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Halo S&E and will be responsible for all business operations of the LA Clippers, Ontario Clippers, Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. She will continue in her role as President of Business Operations for the Clippers, while Lawrence Frank remains President of Basketball Operations, leading the basketball performance of both teams.

"Gillian is a proven leader and one of the most respected executives in the NBA," said Ballmer. "She has a successful track record running our business. I have continued to expand her role because I have the utmost confidence in her ability to achieve our ambitious goals."

Halo S&E will focus on Ballmer's four sports and entertainment holdings, with no plans for further expansion. Ballmer acquired the Clippers in 2014 and purchased the Kia Forum in 2020. Intuit Dome, the future home of the Clippers, will be a global destination for sports and music fans. The privately funded arena is expected to bring more than 7,000 jobs to the community.
