Culver City Symphony Orchestra Kicks Off 2023-24 Season

Celebrating Mozart's 268th Birthday

The concert will be held on Sunday January 21, at 7:00pm in the Robert Frost Auditorium located at Culver City High School.

In 2022-23 the Orchestra presented its first full season for several years, with four outstanding concerts led by four guest conductors.

Our 2023-24 season opened in November, as we introduced our new Music Director-Conductor, Clyde Mitchell, with a program that included a world premiere of Circle Overture by Craig Safan, and ended with a performance of the Symphony No. 1 of Johannes Brahms that showcased the Orchestra on its finest form.

The season continues with Maestro Mitchell leading the Orchestra in a celebration of Mozart's music to mark his 268th birthday.

The program includes the Overture to the Magic Flute, followed by the Flute Concerto No. 1 featuring Catherine Ransom Karoly, Associate Principal Flute of the LA Phil.

It end with Mozart's last symphony, the "Jupiter."

Admission is Free.
