Council to Select New Mayor

The main item on the city council agenda on Monday night December 11 will be the selection of a new mayor.

The mayor is selected amongst the city council members and rotates every year.

As per council policy Vice Yasmine-Imani McMorrin is expected to be elected and fill the largely ceremonial position re[;ace current Mayor Albert Vera who will continue to serve as a member of the city council.

Councill will then select a new Vice Mayor.
