New Four-Story Office Building Proposed Near Culver City Station

The Culver City Planning Commission will consider at its next meeting a proposal calling for the development of a new four-story commercial building near the Culver City metro station.

CIM Group has submitted the plans to redevelop a low-rise structure at 8960 Washington. The proposed building will feature 63,693 square feet of offices above a three-level, 182-car subterranean parking garage, according to Urbanize LA.

Plans for the new construction, designed by Abramson Architects, include a contemporary low-rise structure clad in materials including metal screens, aluminum panels, and light gray stucco. The building would include a rooftop deck overlooking Washington Boulevard.

According to an environmental report, construction of 8960 Washington is scheduled to occur over a 2-year period commencing in 2024 and concluding in 2026.
