This week, CCPD Officers responded to the area of the 9300 block of Jefferson Blvd regarding a burglary from a motor vehicle that had just occurred. Officer arrived on scene and learned that two suspect broke out a parked vehicle's window, stole property and fled eastbound on Jefferson Blvd.
Multiple CCPD Officers searched the area and found both suspects. The first suspect ran as soon as he saw our Officers, but he was quickly apprehended without incident. The second suspect attempted to get away on a bike, but officers were able to catch up and detain him without incident.
The Officers recovered the stolen property.
Both suspects were identified by the reporting party and were transported to CCPD for booking.
Names of the suspects was not released.
