CCUD Board of Education Comments on resignation of Superintendent CCUSD Superintendent Quoc Tran

Dear CCUSD Community,

The CCUSD Board of Education and CCUSD Superintendent Quoc Tran have agreed to a separation resulting in the Superintendent's departure from the district, effective today, August 15, 2023. The Board of Education is grateful to Mr. Tran for his leadership over the past two years, including his oversight during the challenging times of COVID, online learning, and return to in-person instruction.

Immediate Next Steps

Current CCUSD Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Dr. Angela Baxter will step up to serve as Acting Superintendent until we are able to appoint an Interim. Please joining us in thanking her for supporting our district at this time. The Board will then be meeting interim candidates at a special meeting of the Board of Education this Thursday, August 17, 2023. We look forward to introducing our interim superintendent to employees and the school community by the end of the week.
