Pro Football Hall of Fame Running Back LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates, the NFL’s All-Time Touchdown Receptions Leader Amongst Tight Ends, will square off as head coaches of their respective star-studded line-ups in this unique installment of Monday Night Football.

The Los Angeles Chargers will host the “Battle of the G.O.A.T.S” Celebrity Flag Football game pitting two of the Greatest Of All Time – Pro Football Hall of Fame Running Back LaDainian Tomlinson and NFL All-Time Tight End Touchdown Receptions Leader Antonio Gates – against each other as coaches in the Bolts’ first-ever celebrity flag football game. The game will be held under the SoFi Stadium lights Monday, December 19 at 7:00 pm and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit focused on helping families thrive.

In this unique installment of Monday Night Football, Tomlinson and Gates will lead teams of NFL legends, celebrities, musicians and influencers in this friendly-but-guaranteed-to-be-competitive flag football competition. Personalities currently scheduled to participate include Dodgers Right fielder Mookie Betts, Actor/Producer Sterling K. Brown, Actor Chord Overstreet, Actor Skylar Astin, Musician/Producer Suzette Quintanilla, TV Host Akbar Gbajabiamila, Faze Nate Hill, former WWE Divas Champion and Actress/Model Barbie Blank, former Dodgers All-Star Adrian Gonzalez and CIF Regional State Champion football player Bella Rasmussen as well as NFL Legends Shawne Merriman, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Terrell Owens, Clinton Portis, T.J. Ward, Willis McGahee, Orlando Scandrick and Ricky Williams to name just a few.

Gates open at 6:00 pm for an evening that, in addition to the game itself, will include interactive activities, a pregame performance by the Thunderbolts and appearances by current Chargers players. Former KROQ Music Director, co-host of iHeart Radio’s Petros and Money Show and Voice of the Chargers Matt ‘Money’ Smith will serve as the emcee.

The friendly flag football competition will help raise funds for the Charges Impact Fund; which has awarded more than $12 million in direct community assistance, including more than $6 million to public schools for badly needed physical fitness, nutrition and athletic programs and equipment. The Chargers Impact Fund has four important pillars that serve to support its mission in Southern California and form the basis for granting and critical programming – youth empowerment, supporting families, animal welfare and emergency response.

Seating will be limited to the west sideline of the lower bowl and tickets are limited. For more information on the “Battle of the G.O.A.T.S” Celebrity Flag Football game, visit http://www.chargers.com/battle-of-the-goats.
