Culver City police are looking for two young men who held up at gunpoint a gas station on Washington Place, stealing $200 from the cash register.
The armed robbery occurred on November 29 around 11:20 p.m. at the Chevron station, located at 11197 Washington Place, according to the Culver City Police Department which released a video of the incident.
The victim, an employee at the gas station., told officers the two suspects entered the store, “produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the cash register,” CCPD said in a statement. “After removing $200 from the cash register, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.”
One suspect was described by police as a Black male in his 20s, 5’-7” tall with thin build and wearing a black hoodie with red accents, black pants, black mask, red/black slippers.
The other suspect was described as Black male in his 20s, 5’-05” tall with thin build, and wearing a light green hoodie, gray sweatpants, black beanie, blue surgical mask, black/blue shoes.
