'Anti-Semitic Hate Publication' Distributed in Culver City Last Sunday

An anti-Semitic publication has again been distributed in Culver City over the weekend, and local police have started an investigation.

On Sunday, Nov. 20, the Culver City Police Department learned of “anti-Semitic hate” materials distributed in one neighborhood. Multiple residents reported receiving copies of this publication, police said.

“The publication was produced by a known hate group who has distributed similar hate materials in surrounding cities,” CCPD said in a statement.

Similar incidents have been reported in the past year in other Westside communities, including Beverly Hills and Westwood.

In its statement, the Culver City Police Department stated it “condemns all forms of hate, and we stand in solidarity with our Jewish Community. We will utilize all resources available to us to fully investigate this matter and bring any criminal offenders to justice.”

CCPD also said “we are working diligently with our community partners, neighboring agencies, and other law enforcement partners on this incident. Any criminal activity that is discovered though this investigation will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for criminal filing consideration.”

Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Culver City Police Sergeant Edward Baskaron at (310) 253-6316, or the Watch Commander at (310) 253-6202.
