CC Police Nab Suspect in 7-11 Armed Robbery

Culver City police arrested on Tuesday a suspect who held up at gunpoint a convenience store on Sepulveda Boulevard last week.

The armed robbery occurred around 1:16 a.m. on October 10 at 7-11, located at 5494 Sepulveda, according to Culver City Police Department.

“The suspect entered the store and pointed a brown handgun at the cashier,” said CCPD in a Facebook post. “The suspect stole approximately $100 cash, numerous Lottery Scratchers, and multiple cigarette cartons and fled in an unknown direction.”

CCPD detectives conducted a thorough investigation and identified “a possible suspect who had an extensive criminal history,” police said.

Through a joint effort with surrounding law enforcement agencies, the suspect was arrested without incident on October 18, CCPD said. His name was not immediately released by the authorities.

The case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing considerations, police said.
