Have a HOT night at the Greek for the start of the Jackson Tour

The much-anticipated Jackson Browne tour will land at the Greek Theatre on September 4, Labor Day weekend. Perfect timing since many people have the day off the next day and can really let loose and celebrate at the concert.

He'll have a solid five-piece band with two female background singers and is calling it his "Evening With" tour, supporting his 2021 GRAMMY-nominated album "Downhill From Everywhere."

Legendary singer-songwriter Browne, at 73-years-old, has kept his voice in good shape, so all of his adoring fans will not be disappointed. Since he lives in LA, expect him to put on a great show in his hometown.

His music helped to define my high school days back in the late 70s, and I'm sure many of his fans feel the same way. His lyrics tell poetic stories.

You might not know this, but Browne co-wrote the song "Take if Easy" with Glenn Frey of the Eagles, of blessed memory. He has been singing that song as an encore on tour, so hopefully he'll treat the fans at The Greek with his version. If he does, you know that it will be a transcendent experience...helping to summon Frey's spirit.

Look forward to hearing his big hit and anthem, "Running on Empty," among many other of his gems.

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. It's going to be a "Hot" night.
