Culver City Police are looking for two suspects who carjacked and tasered a man in Fox Hills last week.
The carjacking occurred about 9:15 p.m. on January 20 in the area of 6305 Green Valley Circle, according to the Culver City Police Department.
The victim told police officers he was walking to his vehicle when he noticed the engine was on and the two suspects — one male and one female — were inside, said CCPD in a statement.
The man tried to stop the suspects and grabbed onto the car from the passenger side window as they began to drive away. The female suspect “used the electric shock weapon and tasered the victim, which caused him to let go and fall out of the moving vehicle,” police said.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by local paramedics.
The suspects were last seen fleeing in the vehicle on Green Valley Circle toward Centinela Avenue, according to CCPD.
The first suspect was described by police as a Hispanic male wearing all black. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic female with dark hair and a heavy build, wearing a blue plaid shirt.
The victim’s car is a white 1994 Honda Accord with the California license plate 3FJX712.
Anyone with information on the carjacking was asked to contact CCPD Sergeant Eddie Baskaron at 310-253-6316 or the watch commander at 310-253-6202.
