An 11-story office building is nearing completion at the southwest corner of Culver City.
Workers are wrapping work on The Entrada, a mixed-use office development from LPC West taking shape at 6163 Centinela Avenue, according to Urbanize Los Angeles
The project, which replaces a parking lot on a 405-adjacent site, features approximately 280,000 square feet of offices for rent on its upper floors, with a 1,000-car garage and ground-floor retail.
Designed by Gensler, the project takes the form of a glass box above the podium level, with its mass shifted to leave space for a tenant amenity deck. Cascading terraces are also carved into the northern and southern sides of the building, according to Urbanize Los Angeles.
Located on the border between Culver City and Playa Vista, The Entrada is among the largest new office buildings developed in the surrounding neighborhoods. It is part of a joint venture between LPC West, a subsidiary of Lincoln Property Company, and Broad Street Principal Investments.
LPC West has been an active developer in the Culver City area market. Its other projects include a 128,000-square-foot building at the intersection of Washington and National Boulevards, which is slated to become a new Apple office campus as well as a 150,000-squre-foot complex proposed on Watseka Avenue, according to Urbanize Los Angeles.
