Within a 5-hour span last
Sunday, Culver City police responded
to an armed carjacking
and an armed robbery that
occurred in Fox Hills.
At approximately 10:47 p.m.
on January 17, police officers
received a radio call about an
armed carjacking that took
place at 6221 Bristol Parkway.
According to police, the victim
was leaning against her car
when the suspect walked up
to her, pointed a black handgun
at her, and said, "Give me
everything you have."
The suspect then snatched
the victim's phone out of her
hand and demanded her car
keys. In fear for her life, police
said, the victim gave the suspect
her car keys and the suspect
drove away in the victim's
vehicle. The suspect is described
as male black, 20-30
years old, 6'0'' tall, thin build
and wearing a dark sweat suit.
Within minutes, Culver City Officers
were able to locate the
victim's unoccupied vehicle in
the city of Los Angeles.
Four and a half hours earlier
last Sunday, the Police Department
also received a call
of an armed robbery on Green
Valley Circle just east of Sepulveda
Boulevard.
The victim stated that he
was seated on a bus bench
when a vehicle occupied by
the three men pulled up next
to him. According to police,
the rear passenger pointed a
black handgun at the victim
and demanded the victim's
jacket and belt. Fearing for his
life, the victim handed the suspects
his property.
The suspects then drove
away northbound on Sepulveda
Boulevard and their vehicle
is described at grey or beige
sedan with an inoperable front
right headlight. The suspects
are described as follows:
Suspect #1: Male Black,
17-18 years old, wearing a
blue jacket, no further description.
Suspect #2: Male Black,
22-24 years old, thin build,
ear piercings, black twist style
hair, wearing a white shirt, no
further description.
Suspect #3: Male, 25 years
old, no further description.
