Culver City police are looking for a man who committed a brazen armed robbery at Trader Joe's last Friday.
The suspect is described a black man, 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 6-foot tall, thin build, wearing a dark blue hoodie and black pants, police said.
The robbery occurred around 8:45 p.m. on November 6 at Trader Joe's, located at 9290 Culver Blvd. According to police, the suspect entered the store and held up with a semi-automatic handgun the manager who was in the process of conducting a money transfer.
After robbing the manager, the suspect approached four separate cashiers at gunpoint and demanded money from their respective registers. The cashiers complied, and the suspect then fled with approximately $1,000 in cash, authorities said.
After exiting the store, the suspect ran to the parking structure where he jumped into in a white, 4-door sedan and fled just before officers arrived at the scene, police said.
