The Japanese Cultural Heritage Club is presenting a free “Japanese Martial Arts & Sports” event at El Marino Language School on Saturday, March 7 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
Interactive demonstrations of Judo, Karate, Kyudo (Archery) and Aikido will be available, plus a spotlight demonstration by Dartanyon Crockett, a two-time Bronze Paralympic Judo medalist and world champion. His program starts at 2:00 p.m., and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. After the demonstration there will be a meet-and-greet with Dartanyon.
Japanese food and drinks will be available.
El Marino School is located at 11450 Port Road, Culver City.
