The Second Annual Taste of St. Joseph Center will take place on Thursday, February 27th at Playa Studios in Culver City with over 30 restaurants and beverage sponsors participating.

Featured restaurants include Ashland Hill, Butcher's Daughter, Hotel Erwin, Huckleberry Bakery & Café, Lanea, Mohawk Bend, Morabeza, Mosa, Playa Provisions, Post & Beam, Sunny Spot, South End, The Mar Vista, Sachi LA Coffee Shop, Terranea Resort, Wallflower, Yours Truly and more.

Beverage brands include Beam Suntory, BoochCraft, Guayakí Yerba Mate, Pali Wine Co., Santa Monica Brew Works, and more.

This year the festival will honor St Joseph's culinary training program graduate Caroline Concha with Chef of the Year award. During her tenure at Beelman's, she transformed a meat-heavy menu into a plant-based one, and as Executive Chef at Mohawk Bend, she currently trains graduates of St Joseph's culinary program.

The evening will raise funds for St. Joseph Center's Culinary Training Program which teaches skills to low-income and previously homeless individuals that enable them to enter the food service industry. Founded in 1991, 85% of the program's graduates obtain jobs after graduation.

St Joseph Center's mission is to provide working poor families, as well as homeless men, women and children of all ages, to develop skills to become productive, stable and self-supporting, regardless of their religious affiliation. Annually, it reaches over 10,000 individuals through a variety of outreach, housing, mental health, and job training programs.
