Lucky Liquor Not So Lucky After Robbery

The Culver City and Los Angeles Police Departments are seeking two suspects in back-to-back robberies last Friday.

At about 12:30 a.m. on Friday, December 31, the two suspects dressed in all black and wearing masks entered Venice Liquor located at 12525 Venice Boulevard. They pulled guns and demanded money from the cashier.

The two men then proceeded to Lucky 7 Liquors, less than a mile away, and allegedly robbed that store too. Once again, they demanded cash from employees after brandishing weapons, including a potential cattle prod. They reportedly left with on foot with $350 in cash.

According to the Culver City Police Department, the men were last seen on foot southbound on Kenyon Avenue.

No shots were fired and there were no injuries.

Police are investigating a string of liquor store robberies in the area in recent weeks and if the two suspects from Friday nights robberies are tied to any of the others

This incident is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and Culver City Police Department.
