Members of Strike team #XLA1075A from Culver City, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills Fire Departments work to save homes in the Saddle Ridge Fire last week.
The Culver City Fire Department deployed Engine 41 and 43 to the Saddleridge fire in the San Fernando Valley.
The engine companies are part of strike team #XLA1075A, comprised of Culver City, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills firefighters.
They arrived at the fire lines shortly after midnight on Thursday.
Culver City Firefighter local 1927 reported that the firefighters were extremely busy in the first 12 hours protecting lives and homes.
The strike team has since been released and returned to their home stations.
