Culver City Fire Stations to Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies

The City of Culver City will hold remembrance ceremonies to honor the men, women, children and first responders who lost their lives as a result of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The Fire and Police Departments will host memorial services at each of the three Culver City fire stations on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Members of the public are invited to attend.

The ceremony schedule at each fire station is as follow:

6:55 a.m. Crews assemble in front of flag.

6:59 a.m. Time of the South Tower collapse.

7:00 a.m. One minute of complete silence.

7:01 a.m. Flag lowered to half-staff. Bugle plays (at Fire Station 1 only).

7:03 a.m. Ceremony concluded.

Immediately following the ceremony, please join Culver City firefighters and police officers for a cup of coffee (at Fire Station 1 only).

Fire Station 1 - 9600 Culver Blvd.

Fire Station 2 - 11252 Washington Blvd.

Fire Station 3 - 6030 Bristol Parkway

Parking is limited. Please know that if you choose to "try transit" Culver CityBus provides direct connection to the Expo station and has lines to each fire station as follows:
