Post Office Site Development to be Discussed

Known as the triangle, the John Buck Company and 3MR Capital are hosting a meeting at Temple Akiba next Thursday, Aug. 29 to receive community input on the proposed project at 11111 Jefferson Blvd.

No plans have been sent to the city as of yet and developers wish to have community participation in the project.

The U.S Postal Service will be vacating the property. Coco’s restaurant and Valvoline, along with the post office structures, will all be demolished.

The initial mixed-use project vision includes 279 apartment units, approximately 55,000 square feet of ground floor commercial use and 51,000 square feet of office space. The developers also envision street level open space which will be accessible to the public. A public art component will be a part of the development. Parking for approximately 836 vehicles is planned.

RSVP’s are recommended by email at: 11111Jefferson@3MRCapital.com or by phone at: (504) 437-1409.
