"InstaArt: Create Your LA Story" Exhibit Inspires Festival Attendees to Create Instant Art and Their Los Angeles Stories
Reflecting a fast-evolving world of modern and personalized storytelling beyond the traditional book form, multimedia software provider will be at the University of Southern California (USC) and debut its first interactive pop-up museum at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, April 13 and April 14, 2019. Themed "#InstaArt: Create Your LA Story," the museum is a free, interactive, customizable photo booth and exhibit. It is aimed at inspiring digital artists, photographers, visual storytellers and festival attendees to create, tweak and showcase their instant art and personalized Los Angeles stories via digital, social, viral methods and software tools.

Jeff Dotson is an Award
Winning Visual Effects Artist, Photographer and Director from SouthernCalifornia. His creative contributions began in Visual Effects, working on films such as James Cameron'sAvatar, Land of the Lost, and Maleficent. Soon after, he began collaborating with musical artists such as Excision, Illenium, Maroon 5 and Foster the People. Jeff won a VMA for Best Visual effects on the video
for Katy Perry's E.T. ft Kanye West, followed by a nomination for Skrillex's Breakn' a Sweat music video.
Recently he showcased his directorial talents in collaboration with Director, Tom Lowe, and Producer, Terrence Malick, on the feature film Awaken. Over the course of four years, Jeff served as Second Unit Director on this film. During this time, he shot in over five countries, managing over a petabyte of data, and contributed heavily to the project's international production logistics.
Having stepped into an entrepreneurial role, Jeff is most recently focused on transforming his production entity, Dotson Film Company, into an advertising agency within the tech and creative commercial space. Dotson Film Company is responsible for several flagship product launch campaigns, with clients that include Intel, Razer, and Nvidia, among others. Jeff is also in the early development stages of several original properties in the long form entertainment space, working to expand and practice his voice as a visual storyteller.

She is the creator of visual art brand Hobo Circus where she creates content in the forms of fashion, photography, dance and film.
