The Culver City Downtown Business Association will hold its annual holiday tree lighting celebration next Thursday, December 6, at 6 p.m.
The Culver City Police Officers Association will provide an escort for Santa and his sleigh to the event all the way from the North Pole! The police escort will include lights and sirens for the delight of the children. Every child will get the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap for a picture.
Children and parents are invited to visit downtown Culver City businesses as the Culver City High School AVPA Chamber singers along with jazz singers and a choir of elementary school singers provide a festive evening of holiday songs.
The association will also have hot cider, hot cocoa, cookies and other holiday treats that are sure to make everyone feel merry.
Culver City’s downtown area is Southern California’s best kept secret, featuring a wonderful mix of historic buildings, boutiques, theaters, galleries, and unique restaurants opening onto tree-lined streets.
The event is sponsored by the Culver City Downtown Business Association with generous contributions from the City of Culver City and the Culver Studios.
