Twirly Head Bandit
The FBI announced the person who to robbed the downtown Culver City Branch of Bank of America was linked to 3 more bank robberies over the weekend in the cities of Gardena, Norwalk & Pasadena. Now wanted for a total of 6.
They call him the "Twirly Head Bandit." He earned the moniker due to a squiggly design carved into his short hair.
According to an online Pasadena newspaper he showed up at Citibank, 161 W. California Ave. on Friday morning and passed a teller a note demanding money, Pasadena police Lt. William Grisafe said. After obtaining cash, he got into a newer-model Infiniti Q50 and drove off.
He generally passes a teller a note demanding money, as well as threatening the teller to make "no sudden moves," according to the FBI.
