A Bit of Brazil at City Hall

The brilliant, rhythmic sounds of Brazil will fill the air at Culver City Hall on Thursday, July 12, when Culver's Boulevard Music Summer Festival begins at 7 p.m. on the palm-lined Dale Jones Courtyard, 9770 Culver Blvd.

Admission is free.

Katia Moraes and Brazilian Hearts will bring samba and other South American musical delicacies to City Hall. Moraes has played with several top-selling artists, including Sergio Mendes and Rita Lee.

Also appearing will be the popular group Conganas, a Latin term for "with passion." The group is headed by Chilean percussionist Christian Moraga.
