Free Household Hazardous, E-Waste Disposal Roundup June 30

Local residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic waste free of charge at a Countywide Household Hazardous and E-Waste Roundup next week in Culver City.

The Roundup will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, at the Bill Botts Field by the Sundial Parking Lot, 9910 Jefferson Boulevard (enter from Jefferson Blvd and Duquesne Avenue, drive up the hill to the middle fields).

The County will recycle what it can and properly dispose of the rest. Residents are urged to leave the hazardous waste products in their original container, place them in a cardboard box and drive to the Roundup site. No explosive or radioactive materials, tires or waste from business will be accepted.

The Free Countywide Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Roundup is sponsored by the County of Los Angeles and funded by the Department of Public Works and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County in cooperation with the City of Culver City Public Works Environmental Programs and Operations.
