JIM CLARKE HONORED BY FRIENDS OF THE SANDY SEGAL YOUTH HEALTH CENTER

The Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center will honor Councilman Jim Clarke at their annual fundraiser on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at a private venue in Marina Del Rey.

For information on the location please contact Sarah Carpenter at 310-837-3734. This year the theme is Let Their Dreams Sail. Mr. Clarke's dedicated support and advocacy of the Health Center helps make it possible to meet the goals of maintaining and improving the health of Culver City students.

Jim has been on the City Council since 2012, serving as Mayor from 2016-17. He was the founder and past president of the Culver City Centennial Celebration Committee which brought a year of special community events to recognize the City's 100th anniversary.

The event begins 5:30 p.m. with appetizers, silent auction, no host bar, and music by Ronnie Jayne. Dinner follows with music, a program, and a live auction. The cost is $100 per person prior to February 16, or $110 at the door. All proceeds go to the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center located on the campus of Culver City Middle and high school.

The Health Center is operated by the Venice Family Clinic and provides free quality health care for Culver City students. A variety of services are offered including physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, care for ongoing illnesses and conditions, prescription medications, and mental health counseling provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center.
