In one of the premier organizations to assist in funding activities at Culver City schools the CCEF's Board of Directors has announced their new Executive Director, Melanie Mack.
"Melanie is bringing with her a wealth of experience in non-profit management, entrepreneurship, civic leadership, entertainment and public relations," stated CCEF President Beth Stewart. "She's a business-owner, a published author and a television producer with a Daytime Emmy." Melanie is also an experienced grant writer, public relations specialist and a fund development professional with more than 16 years of experience.
For her part Melanie sees Culver City as "a thriving community and school district with a rich history and incredible opportunities for continued growth." Her skill set will help CCEF take advantage of those opportunities.
CCEF is Culver City Unified School District's premier fundraising organization, supporting every CCUSD student at every CCUSD school. "So many of our elite and innovative programs are solely the result of the hard work that CCEF has done throughout the years," explains Superintendent Leslie Lockhart.
"It takes a truly dedicated person to be at the helm of such a foundation and I am excited to work with Mrs. Melanie Mack. She is incredibly talented and has great and creative ideas that will benefit our school district and our students. I know Mrs. Mack will continue to build on the great foundation that CCEF's past executive director Leslie Adler established and will take CCEF to even greater heights to the benefit of all our students!"
Melanie says, "It's my absolute privilege and honor to carry the baton forward and lead CCEF with Culver Pride and a spirit of excellence and collaboration into its next exciting chapter."
Melanie replace former Executive Director Leslie Adler who recently retired.
