The Jeffrey Foundation's 45th Anniversary Celebration Presented by the "Circle of Love

The Jeffrey Foundation and its “Circle of Love” Committee held its 45thAnniversary Dinner on May 11. The event took place at The Olympic Collection located at 11301 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles. More than 140 guests attended. Music and entertainment were provided by songstress Bonnie Bowden and Peter Marshall, Star of Television. Event MC was Christine Devine, award-winning newscaster from Channel 11 Fox News. “Circle of Love” committee Joanna Kermani, Suz Landay, Beverly Cohen, Mara New, Poppy Paulos, Linda Schwartz, Elaine Dupont Bernard, Mauria McPoland, and Lorraine Spector planned the event. Mrs. Alyce Morris Winston, the Jeffrey Foundation founder was honored for 45 years of service. The goal of this year’s “Circle of Love” Campaign was to raise $500,000 for educational and therapeutic Children’s Programs that include parent counseling and community education programs provided through the Special Child and Family Resource Center. The Jeffrey Foundation provides a full-continuum of family-centered programs that include counseling, parent training, community education, technology based training and educational appropriate programs for infants, children, teens and young adults up to 22 years age. The Jeffrey Foundation is a premier service provider for at-risk and special needs children. Founded by Alyce Morris Winston, it was named to honor her son, Jeffrey, who passed away at age 16 from complications related to muscular dystrophy.
