As part of the spectacular events surrounding Culver City’s 2017 Centennial Celebration Wescom Credit Union presents the 2017 Culver City Centennial Westside Food & Wine Festival which will serve up tastes of amazing food, wines and spirits to raise money for Backpacks for Kids program, on Sunday, July 2 from 4:30 pm to 8. (VIP 4 p.m.) at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Westside in Culver City. Delicious tastes from some of Culver City, Mar Vista, Venice and West Los Angeles’ popular restaurants and chefs are paired with tastings of wines, spirits and other libations. This Culver City celebratory event also features a silent auction, ambient music by DJ Gabe of Culver City; live guitar by Kevin G; Fantastic Paul, the professional strolling magician as seen on America’s Got Talent, and a fortune telling psychic; as well as raffle prizes. VIP tickets are also available, which include chair massages and other special perks. California’s Wescom Credit Union is the Gold Sponsor providing financial experts on hand to answer any banking questions.
