Culver City Unified School District
Award winning school districts like ours don’t just happen. It takes an amazing community of teachers, administrators, staff members and volunteers working day in and day out to educate and nurture our students so they can develop the skills they will need to be successful not only in school, but in life. At campuses throughout our Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) Volunteers, Classified Employees and Teachers of the Year have been announced (see below). And now it’s time to celebrate! First, look over the names of our award winners and find the names of those who have made a difference in the lives of students you know. Next purchase an ad in the Culver City Education Foundation’s (CCEF) Tribute to the Stars event book celebrating those extraordinary people. Individuals, organizations, companies, groups of friends— all of you are eligible to buy ads in the book. Just go online to: http://ccef4schools.org. Click on Promote, Congratulate, or Both on the right hand side under More CCEF News, and then click again on Sponsorship Packages and Form. It will take you to the 2017 Tribute Dual Sponsor Ad Form, with the ad information at the bottom of the form. Ads must be submitted by April 17.Second, buy tickets to CCEF’s lawn party gala— the Tribute to the Stars 2017! The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 6th at Culver Studios in downtown Culver City. There will be fine foods, a live band, dancing, a balloon pop, a photo booth and hundreds of incredibly fun and amazing people who believe in our students and joyfully support our schools. Buy your tickets online at: http://ccef4schools.org/tribute-to-the-stars-2017. Those are two simple ways to celebrate, to honor our awardees and to have a super fun time in the heart of your community. Best of all every dollar CCEF raises through this event will be used to further our mission to enhance and enrich the education of every CCUSD student, at every one of our schools, every single day.
