As the 2017 season rolls in, Dodger Stadium is getting ready for the big opening day against the San Diego Padres on April 3.Recently, I gotto spend the dayat Dodgers Stadium learning about the exciting new changes for the season. There are some new things coming to Dodger Stadium like lots ofnewfoods, fun promo items, and a Jackie Robinson statue. The executive head chef, Ryan Evans, said his goalis for “Dodger Stadium be the top food destination in all MLB.I gotto try some of the yummy new food items like the poke bowl, marinated chicken bites, funnel cakes, a 1/3 poundhamburger with a Dodger dogon top, smeared with Anheuser-Busch BBQ sauce and topped with a fried jalapeno. My personal favorite is the Loaded Tots, which are toasted infresh garlic, oil, and parmesan cheese. There’s lots of cool promo items this yearas well. They will have 10 bobbleheads, eight commemorative coins and many new items like a yoga mat, phone charger, weekender bag, bluetooth speaker, andmy favorite, the chips and salsa dish.A lot of other fans are happy about that one too.

A very popular day at the stadium will be Jackie Robinson Night on April 15,and they are unveiling a larger than life size statue of Jackie Robinson. And they are also giving away mini onesto the first 40,000 visitors! WOW!Another DONOT MISS night will be when they honor the great hall of fame announcerVin Scully on May 3.There will be a ceremony for him and the giveaway will be a commemorative microphone statue. My fun day ended with a cool VIP tour to the field, the dugout and the Vin Scully Press Box and I cant wait togo back.I amSadie White, 11 years old, and I want to thank KidScoop Media for this opportunity. For more Kid Scoop Media opportunities check out there website at http://www.kidscoopmedia.org
