The first 100 years met with raves at the opening book signing at Westfield Culver City on the City’s 99th anniversary on September 20, 2016. Record crowds stood in line waiting to purchase the book and have Julie personally sign them for those in attendance. The book was selling at the rate of one every minute for over two hours of the signing.
Authored by Culver City Historian Julie Lugo Cerra. The centennial publication is her second history book of Culver City, plus three books on Culver City from the renowned Scenes of America Series and numerous other books and articles.
