Scott Wyant is hosting a fundraising event at the Culver Hotel (9400 Culver Boulevard, Culver City) on Sunday, January 31 from 5:30 pm to 7:30.
The event will have some unique features including gameshow style squares where contestants will be able to win prizes including a lasagna dinner for eight people made by Scott and his wife Leslie.
Other prizes include a signed serigraph by Academy Award winner Sir Anthony Hopkins; fly-fishing lessons; classical guitar lessons and a growing list of mystery prizes.
"We want to provide an atmosphere where people can have fun and enjoy themselves because this campaign is a reflection of Culver City itself. People come to our City to enjoy themselves with their friends and family; this campaign mirrors that sentiment."
Scott has been serving as a Planning Commissioner for seven years and has extensive experience serving on the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. As a small business owner and family man, he understands and shares the values of so many in our community.
One of his campaign themes, "planning for the next 100 years" sets out an aggressive agenda that will launch Culver City into the next century.
