Tiggs to Run for Culver City Council

A resident of Culver City for more than 20 years, Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Tiggs (Ret.) announced today his candidacy for the 2016 Culver City Council.

Tiggs' dedication to Culver City and community involvement spans almost two decades. A member of the Fiesta Ballona Planning Committee (Vice-Chair 2015) for over 10 years, eight years of service as a former Culver City Planning Commissioner, and volunteering for various local organizations. Tiggs is also a practicing bankruptcy lawyer and adjunct law professor, UWLA School of Law.

According to Tiggs, elecTiggs is a grass roots campaign that will be conducted with the highest degree of integrity and respect. Our great city hungers for proven leadership, fresh ideas, positive solutions and someone who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves to tackle our future challenges. This is without losing the essence of Culver City and without automatically looking to residents for more tax revenues.
