Jason S. Campbell has been appointed as the Executive Officer of the California Board of Podiatric Medicine (BPM). Born and raised in Culver City, Campbell attended Culver City schools and has deep roots in the community.
The grandson of Culver City Fire Department's late Chief Burt F. Campbell, Campbell has followed both his grandfather and father in active and dedicated public service. His father also began his service with the Culver City Police Department before retiring after a 30-year career in law enforcement.
Prior to his appointment Campbell served with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority in various capacities, most notably as manager and a government ethics and compliance officer.
Before beginning his career in public service Campbell practiced law in private practice. BPM regulates licensed Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPMs).
Through faithful execution of the laws and regulations governing the practice of podiatric medicine, the Board's Executive Officer diligently carries out the Board's mission and directives in the administration, licensing and enforcement of a licentiate base consisting of approximately 2,200 podiatric physicians statewide.
