Congresswoman Karen Bass (D-Calf.), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement following the passage today of House Concurrent Resolution 107:
"I joined my colleagues today in supporting a resolution expressing our condolences to the families of the innocent victims on both sides of the conflict. I strongly support Israel's right to defend itself, and I am hopeful that both sides will soon move towards peace and an immediate ceasefire."
