Newly elected Assembly member Sebastian Ridley-Thomas will give members of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce a report on his first 90 days in office as well as his future plans as Assembly member for the 57th Assembly District on Friday, April 4 at the Chamber's Issues & Eggs Forum.
Ridley-Thomas won his seat in a December 2013 special election to fill a vacated seat when Holly Mitchell resigned to become Culver City's State Senator. At the age of 27, Ridley-Thomas has a legacy of service inherited from his parents, Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.
The Culver City Chamber of Commerce was the only leading organization in Culver City to endorse Ridley-Thomas over two other candidates in an all democratic election. The Assembly member showed his support of the business community and economic development during his campaign as well as his concern for social programs.
Registration is at 7:30 am, the program at 8 am at the DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Westside, 6161 W Centinela Av
