The Culver City Symphony Orchestra continues its 2013-14 Season with, A Winter's Concert on Saturday, February 22 at 8 pm at Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Avenue.
Frank Fetta is the Conductor/Music Director.
CCSO historically programmed unusual, out-of-the-way works, and remains true-to-form. It is not often one hears in one concert separate concertos for viola and bass, performed by two young soloists from our Parness Concerto Competition:
Benjamin Chilton, Viola, is the First Runner-Up in the Intermediate Division, and William Cravy, Bass, is an Honorable Mention in the Senior Division.
A popular modern work and a symphony of Schubert complete the program. The orchestra was named Best of the Westside, 2014 (The Argonaut) from summer Marina concerts.
