Bill Reider, General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton LA Westside, has been elected Chair of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce for the 2014 year.
Reider, has served as GM for seven years, leading the hotel through its successful rebranding to a DoubleTree property of more than 360 rooms.
Reider will lead an Executive Committee made up of Kevin Lachoff, Chair-Elect of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, commercial brokers; Immediate Past Chair Michael Hamill of Grandview National Inc; Vice-Chairs Paul Goldstein of Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, Kyle Jones of Perennial Financial Services, Colette Moore of Pridestaff, Sue Robins of Ascend Training Solutions, and Don Ziss, GM of Westfield Culver City.
Newly elected or re-elected board members joining a total Board of 30 leading business people will Elizabeth Flynn of Walter N. Marks Inc; Dr. Scott Bowling of the Exceptional Children's Foundation; Goran Eriksson, esi Techtrans, Inc; Richard Hibbs, CPA; Michael Racine of Hackman Capital Partners, LLC; and Dane Twichell of Twichell STUDIO: architects.
Culver City Chamber Installations are known for their humor, quick pace and meaningful comments from the outgoing and incoming Chairs. This year Culver City Past President (now known as chair) and Council member Andy Weissman will be the master of ceremonies.
The Installation of Officers is set for Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the DoubleTree by Hilton as a Breakfast Installation.
